The herCo. story

We didn't set out to build a brand. We set out to feel better.

herCo. was created for the women who are doing everything and quietly putting themselves last.

Two sisters. One honest conversation.

Katie and Jenny are two sisters, and the founders behind herCo.

The idea started the way most honest ideas do: in a conversation between two exhausted women who couldn't find what they were looking for.

Katie was deep in the juggle — a growing family, a demanding routine, and a wellness shelf full of powders, sachets and supplements that had
somehow become another source of stress. She was doing all the "right" things, and still felt depleted, foggy and flat. Still running on empty. Still putting everyone else first. At the same time, she'd been watching the wellness space in the US. The beautiful, simple products that made looking after yourself feel enjoyable rather than overwhelming. But nothing in Australia felt elevated, effective, or made for women like them.

On a holiday together, the idea came up almost offhandedly. They should just create it themselves. And so, they did.

That conversation became the beginning of herCo.

The moments that made it real

Meet our founder: Katie Churchill

In March 2025, Katie welcomed her daughter Charlotte. She and her husband already had their son Henry, and Charlotte felt like the final missing piece of their family. The pregnancy had been completely unremarkable. Every scan, every test said she was healthy.

But three days after she was born, Charlotte failed her newborn hearing screening. What followed were weeks of exhausting appointments, before they were told she was profoundly deaf in both ears. Further testing revealed something far more frightening. Her deafness was caused by an incredibly rare genetic disease that also affects the heart. At just eight weeks old, they were told Charlotte likely had only weeks to months to live and were referred to palliative care.

There are moments in life that divide everything into before and after. That was one of them.

The fear, the grief, the sheer exhaustion of holding everything together while falling apart inside, it was unlike anything Katie had experienced. But in the middle of that uncertainty, something shifted. She became deeply focused on health. On how we care for ourselves and the people we love, especially when life is at its hardest.

Charlotte is now 16 months old and thriving against all odds, thanks to an experimental drug.

However, that experience became part of the reason herCo. was born. What started in one of the most overwhelming seasons of her life became something rooted in resilience, hope, and a genuine desire to help women prioritise their wellbeing, simply and sustainably.

THE MOMENTS THAT MADE IT REAL

Meet our founder: Jenny Conroy

For most of her adult life, Jenny has struggled with hormonal imbalances. After having her second child, she reached a point where she simply didn't feel like herself anymore. On paper, everything looked fine — a healthy family, a successful corporate career, a supportive network around her. But underneath it all, she felt anxious, overwhelmed and constantly switched on. Wired but exhausted. Guilty for struggling when life looked so good.

That's a big part of why she said yes to building herCo. She wanted to create something for women like her. Women who are doing it all but quietly running on empty.

Then in January 2026, her husband Andrew was diagnosed with stage 3 brain cancer and the world stopped.

Overnight, Jenny became the steady one. The strong one. The one who held it together for their children, who showed up as a source of strength for Andrew, and who kept moving forward even when every part of her wanted to stop. She never wanted anyone to see her crumble. Never wanted to let the fear show, not to the kids, not to Andrew, not to the people around her who were watching and wondering how she was coping.

But privately, the weight of it was immense. Life felt heavy in a way that's hard to put into words. The future she had known and planned for had quietly changed shape. And she carried that - the grief of it, the uncertainty of it - mostly alone, mostly in silence, mostly while still showing up for everyone else.

She could have walked away from herCo. in that season. No one would have blamed her. But Andrew became her biggest supporter and encouraged her to keep going. Because this mattered. Because our health matters.

Stressed, overwhelmed and exhausted? We made herCo. for you.

What both sisters have come to understand is this: stress, burnout, exhaustion, hormones — it all adds up. And when women don't prioritise their health, nothing else works the way it should. That's what herCo. stands for.

Sound familiar?

You're a woman in your thirties or forties. You're doing it all; the career, the family, the mental load that never fully switches off. And at the same time, your body feels different. Your energy isn't what it was. Your resilience feels thinner. You're navigating hormonal changes that nobody really prepares you for.

You're tired but wired. Stressed and stretched. Snapping at the people you love because you're running on empty. Feeling anxious for no clear reason, foggy when you need to be sharp, flat when you want to feel like yourself. And carrying a quiet guilt that you should somehow be managing it all better.

Nothing is catastrophically wrong. But nothing feels quite right either. That's who herCo. was made for. Because that feeling is real, and it deserves a real solution.
